Westview Small Groups
We believe that life
change really happens best in small groups. It is in the
intimate setting of small groups that a person can be
open, honest, and free to be themselves.
In a world that is
moving more and more toward isolation, and away from
interaction, small groups bring us back to the place where
we can love and be loved, just as we are.
In a HOME group, we
focus on bible study, fellowship and food on a monthly
basic in the homes of some of our members that host these
events, allowing opportunities for people to connect
relationally, grow spiritually, and discover the love of
Christ.
In fact, the acronym "H.O.M.E."
stands for Home's Open for Ministry Encouragement.
We meet based upon a
breakdown of ages:
College Age
Young Adults
40-50 Ages
Keenagers
These meetings are
announced on our News Page as well in church on the screen
and in the bulletin.
We know almost everyone
needs to connect at a more intimate level and that this is
harder to do in a larger church. In fact, we frequently
say, "For us to get larger . . . we must get smaller."
We're hoping that the focus on HOME groups will be a tool
to help us grow together in Christ.
