I feel so Alone- I'm lost!

I NEED HELP!

It's no accident that you're here.  God convicts your heart to do the things he wants you to do.  Trust in him.

All of us find ourselves lost in a room full of people at some point in our lives.  We can be surrounded by people, and still feel as if we are the only person on earth.  So alone!  We've been there.  We wonder what our purpose in life is?

Why am I here?  Why did God make me, if he's going to give me so many troubles?  These are questions that most of us have at some point.  The answer is quite simply, GOD MADE YOU BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU.  The Bible says that even before you were born, he knew you.

The troubles that you are going through right now, those that you are wondering why God has not rescued you from......He is developing your heart.  He wants you to humble yourself before him and he has much greater plans in store for you.  He's preparing you for something more.  He wants you to know him, and he's getting your attention.

He's got it, Don't you think?

You've made the first step by searching out this website.  You are looking for guidance.  Direction.  What should I do now?  You're on the right path now.  So, lets talk about what you should do.  Let's start with the most basic question that everyone has.

Why was I Created?

All of us will at one time or another ask this Question.
THE ANSWER IS FAIRLY SIMPLE

To glorify God

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light "
(1 Peter 2:9 NIV).

To know God

"I have made you known to them, and they will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them " (John 17:26 NIV).

To enjoy life in Him forever

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future " (Jeremiah 29:11 NIV).

Jesus said

"...I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full "  (John 10:10 NIV).

So what's wrong with the way I'm living?

Well, there's a problem!

The Problem

"Because we have sinned and disobeyed God's commands, we have severed our relationship with God and have fallen short of His intended purpose for our lives.  This separation will lead to eternal death unless we are reconciled to God.

"...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)

"For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" ( Romans 6:23)

THE QUESTION

How can we be reconciled to God?  What can we do to make things right with our Creator?.

LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS
Are you a Christian?  Have you ever given your life to Jesus?  Do you understand what this means?  Our society seems to throw this word out a lot, but have you given it some thought as to exactly what this means?

Our definition of a Christian is a person who has decided that JESUS is Lord over their life.  They realized that they are  NOT going to heaven, that they ARE sinners and they have asked JESUS to come into their heart and save them.  You see the Bible instructs us that man is sinful and by ourselves, we can not get into heaven.  We need someone to take care of those sins for us.

When God made man and woman, they were without sin, but you might have heard that story about what happened in the Garden of Eden.  The serpent tempted Eve into doing something that God had said not to do.  She ate from the tree of knowledge and then enticed Adam into doing that, too.  What happened?  Well, they learned that they were naked and then hid from the Lord.  And as such, that's where sin originated.

God punished man and woman.  He said in Genesis that he would greatly increase her child bearing pains.  He told the serpent that he would forever crawl on his belly and that there he would put an enmity between the woman, her offspring and the serpents offspring and that man would crush his head and that the serpent would strike man's heel.  He then told Adam that the ground he lives on is now cursed and that only through painful toil will he eat from it. Only by the sweat of his brow will he be able to eat.

It's an interesting story, explained in Genesis 3:13-19 and it explains how sin first started.

God can't allow sin to enter Heaven because God hates sin.  So because man became sinful, he could not enter heaven.  But God loves us and wanted us to be with him.  He had to devise a way for this to happen.

John 3:16 says that God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

So, back to the question...Are you a Christian?  Do you believe in Jesus as your Savior?  Have you accepted him into your heart as Lord?

If not, then we need you to do this right now.  CLICK HERE to go to the page that outlines the Bible scriptures.   Basically, you have to HEAR the message, BELIEVE that it is real, CONFESS that JESUS IS LORD and REPENT or turn away from your old ways and finally you need to be BAPTIZED

Being Baptized is symbolic of death.  You are buried in the old life and raise into a new one.  Sounds strange, doesn't it?

No matter what you have done.  No matter how bad of a person you think you are, God will accept you into his kingdom if you simply BELIEVE and TRUST in him, following his ways.  You can be forgiven just like that.

ITS TRUE!

When you give your life to JESUS, you start a new life and you will find peace that that you haven't had before.  That lack of peace in your life is why you're here now, reading this.  If you had peace in life, you would not be searching for the answers.  You'd have them.  You would know that God has a plan for all of us.

BUT WHAT IF YOU ARE ALREADY A CHRISTIAN....
And you're hurting still.  You might be here because you're mad at God.  You gave your life to Jesus and nothing has changed.  You are still lonely, you still have those feelings of depression and you still haven't found the answers.

WHY!

Perhaps the best way that we can explain this is to say that as God's children, we are like little babies in our world.  Our parent's tell us to stay away from the stove because it's hot, but we don't understand the word hot, or what makes it hot.  So we touch it anyway.  And what happens?  We get burned.  The Bible tells us that all our questions will be answered one day in heaven, but for now, we must trust God's way, even if we don't always understand it.

Here's something for you to think about.  God promised never to give you more than you could bear.  And furthermore, he promised that he would never leave you.  He might not rescue you from the storm, but he will be there with you until the storm passes.  You have to realize that God keeps his word.

And just as your earthly Mother and Father punished you because you had done wrong and needed guidance, so does our heavenly Father.  God causes storms in our life to teach us compassion, to give us experience and to strengthen our heart for something greater in life.  You cry that he has not rescued you, but he has a plan.

BUT I DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS!
In your pain, you fail to see the answers.  Even if you are a Christian, you still must arm yourself with the tools of a Godly life.  Can you image a plumber coming to work at your house and bringing no tools?

DO YOU READ THE BIBLE?
Do you read your Bible?  Can you really expect to master any subject that you never read?  If school children didn't have books or teachers, how would they learn?  Strength and understanding will come when you read the Bible and with that you will have peace.  Peace is that feeling that allows you to accept the storm, with the knowledge that this too shall pass and it will be followed by something much better.  We can't know when, but we have God's promise.

DO YOU COME TO CHURCH?
We draw strength in sharing with other Christians.  We are commanded in the Bible to join together as one, as a church.  Together we call upon one another for compassion, love, prayer and advice.  At church, you learn about the Bible and it will speak to you.  We believe that the spirit convicts you in scripture based upon your need in your life.

Fellowship among other Christians gives you the support that you need to take the next step to understanding this peace.

THE MOST BASIC NEED OF MANKIND
Every person on earth has a very basic need. Simply to be understood by someone is perhaps our most basic need.  You are not all alone.  There are others in your same shoes and sometimes worst.  As people, we need to learn to accept that there is a difference between the want and the need.
